New this week!

Hey!  School is back in session and Kathy has been busy making some new treats!

 Just in time to deal with all the back to school stress, we introduce "The Don" an artisan truffle made with Jameson of course!  

Also new to the Artisan case, the Tiramisu Truffle.  This is Kathy's take on the famous dessert, made into a delicious truffle.

Cotton Candy Popcorn!!!!!!

no more decisions folks, this popcorn is flavored like cotton candy!  You can have your two favorite Midway snacks, as one great treat!  This popcorn is colored pink and blue for a super fun eating experience!

Did you know that Kathy's Kandies provides all of the desserts for the Lafayette Brewing Company?  Each week you can stop over there and try a changing variety of desserts such as, chocolate stout pie, &  turtle cheesecake.  If you can't find a dessert that suites you, stop in the shop and pick something from our large selection of homemade candies and pastries.

Hey!  Happy July!
We can't believe that half the year is already over!
6 months until Christmas! (I know, I know, how annoying!)  Time is just flying by!  This week, the 4th of July, next week Mosey down main!  We hope this weather starts acting right!

Kathy has been busy here at the shop, and she has the recipe books out......so WATCH OUT!!!
The creative juices are flowing!  She has introduced several new truffles & barks in the Artisan case.

New items include:

Mango Tuffles

and Tings!

What are Tings?????

Tings are available in two flavors:

White chocolate with blueberry, candied orange peel, and macadamia nuts

& Dark chocolate with dried cranberries, dried cherries, and pistachio nuts

These new items are only available for a short time, so visit us when you can!

We are back at the shop and we have finally recovered from a great weekend!  We had a great time vending the Taste of Tippecanoe for the 9th year in a row!  It is always nice to get out on the street and see the people of Lafayette having a great time!  We worked hard to get ready for the event, and as usual it paid off!  We had a very small amount of product to bring back to the shop!  We just could not be happier!  Thank you, Lafayette!!!  See you next year!

Saturday night is the 2013 Taste of Tippecanoe!

4pm-12am

The Taste of Tippecanoe is the major fund raising event for the Tippecanoe Arts Federation. Over 100 area arts organizations benefit from funds raised from this event. Good eats, good music and great fun will be waiting for you at the 2013 Taste of Tippecanoe, so you won't want to miss it!

Kathy's Kandies is excited to a part of The Taste for the 9th year in a row!

You can find us on the South West corner of 3rd and Main Streets

Kathy's will be once again be providing some outstanding treats to The Taste crowd!  We will have lots to choose from, including whoopie pies, peanut butter and chocolate fudge, gummies, sour pucker bites, rock candy, brownies, chocolate covered pretzels, almond scramble, salt water taffy, caramels, and caramel corn!

We are a great place to spend those extra few tickets!!

May Flowers!

Finally May flowers are blooming all around this town, including here at Kathy's Kandies!  Kathy has made up a large assortment of chocolate flowers, just in time for Mother's day! We have quite a selection including, daisies, roses, sunflowers, tulips, daffodils,  and calla lillies.  You can purchase these individually or as an arrangement, in a reusable flower pot!

Heading into the weekend!

Wow!  What a week it has been!  The weather is better, and we are seeing lots of familiar faces stopping by the shop!  It's so nice to see the sunshine through the windows!  Man, have we been busy!  This week we made over 1000 cake balls to donate to the Clay Bowl Giving Project at the YWCA, 200 Chocolate Golden Apples for the Golden Apple Awards, 150 Whoopie pies for a wedding, not to mention all the other delicious stuff we made for the shop! So happy to be busy!
